Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
Had seen trailers of this upcoming FX version of "A Christmas Carol" and watched the premiere last night. IMHO it is the best version of the tale that my wife and I have seen in a long time and will be on our annual Christmas Holiday viewing now. MizPete
If anybody is ever in the Raleigh/Durham (NC) area, you just gotta see Ira David Wood's stage production. It is exemplary. And no, not just because Baby Girl was once his lighting designer, and Grandson #1 was offered up to Mr. Scrooge's Christmas trick (soooooooooooooooo freaking cute our video is shaking because the trained professional camera operators were laughing so hard). BTW, he's Evan Rachel Woods' father.

Anvil Al #59168
Wife and I watched it also. Felt the same way. Best version we have seen. It's different. Dealing with some different adult things. But thought it was really good with good acting.
Black Angus McPherson
I watched it today. They tried real hard to turn it into a "MA" rating. That was a real turn off if it wants to be a Christmas movie in my book. Interesting, but I won't be wasting my time watching it again. DocWard
I caught bits and pieces of it last night as I was busy and Mrs. Doc was watching it. It was different. I'll pass in the future.

DocWard
My daughter is adamant the Muppets version is the best. After discussing the matter over Christmas dinner, I got a text in that regard yesterday.
