Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted December 11, 2019 Share Posted December 11, 2019 I have many “Russian dolls”, matrioshki, that I obtained during my travels, one of them is this set of a rooster, hen and egg. The egg is hollow and I am sure it had a chick in it at one time. i would like to have a little chick to put inside the egg. It does not need to be a work of art, indeed, a crudely carved chick is probably appropriate to the art form. To give you an idea of the correct size of said carving, I give a picture of the egg halfs on my fingers. The carving can easily be smaller and rattle around in the egg. what can I give the carver as compensation? You tell me. I will do the painting. Looking at the style I would think it would be pretty simple to make something like that for you. PM me your mailing address and I'll see if I can work with stuff that small this weekend.
