Alpo
You have several books by the same author. If you read one of them, would you finish reading the rest by that author, before moving on to another one? If the books are a series - Hopalong Cassidy, Tarzan, Sherlock Holmes - would you read them in the order they were written, or skip around? LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
I get on author binges occasionally. Usually, I read what catches my eye. And, yes. I try to read books in a series in some order.
Smokin Gator SASS #29736
Sometime authors with a long series will write a prequel with the main characters backround before the first published stories. You can read the stories in the order they were published or follow the timeline. Sometimes I've picked up a book in the middle of a series, liked it, then get the earlier books and go on from there. Yul Lose
Some authors I get hooked on and read many of their novels in a row. Some authors I have to take a break from such as James Lee Burke and his Dave Robicheou novels. Stephen Hunter, Elmore Leonard I cant get enough of.
