I’d like to start making and selling them through a web site, but don’t have a clue about where to start. Etsy looks to be more craft oriented, whereas mine is more functional. Has anybody started a business like this? I’d like to,learn from your experience and hopefully not repeat mistakes. Please PM me if you’re willing to start a conversation along these lines. Ace_of_Hearts Posted December 6, 2019 Share Posted December 6, 2019 No matter where you chose to sell the item(s) you have to drive the customer to that site. Your best bet is FACEBOOK. The cheapest is ETSY. To set up your own website - I suggest Hostgator and use the Weebly website builder. Very simple. No matter.... The customer has to find you somehow.
