Together with fellow Indian Chiefs including Sitting Bull he led a war party to victory over George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in June 1876. Crazy Horse ranks among the most notable and iconic of Native American tribal leaders. It is disputed whether the photo of Crazy Horse shown here is actually Crazy horse or not.
