Is she really pulling that out of a safe, of just the cupboards where the rest of the Tupperware is stored?

That’s okay, it’s a Glock with the safe action trigger. She’s good.

I wonder how many people had an AD or worse after putting a hammer down on a live round on a SAA, just like Duke Wayne and so many others did for decades.

Draw, cock, decide not to fire and lower that hammer!

Yeah but only if you have a little penlight. Shaking it about and looking at it at various angles hoping the bullet reflects light is tiring. Sometimes, with certain pistols, if you slam it real hard against something the bullet comes flying out and you have to be quick or you might get hurt. That only usually happens with those moldy old WW1 pistols the Army guys carried. The cool thing is once a bullet flies out another takes it’s place toot-sweet! It is absolutely fabulous!

Hell, our police chief left his piece in the men's room at town hall.  Never saw it again.  He had to pay for it but suffered no other punishments.

What show is it?

Emergence. It’s on ABC. It’s not about cops. Or guns. ;)
