Dollar Bill Charlie
Has anyone used Clean Shot gun powder for 12 gauge 3/4 oz. # 7.5 shot? I received one lb. as a gift. Clays was recommended - I am new to Shot shell reloading.

Nah - black powder - big boom, lots of flame, tons of smoke and makes everyone complain because their loads don’t do that!

The Rainmaker, SASS #11631
I too, won a pound of Clean Shot, and wondered what I was going to do with it. Works GREAT in 12 ga. I use the smallest bushing in my Lee Loader and get about 16.2 gr (w/ 1 oz of shot), fine for me in my '97. I bring em down a bit to 13 gr. for my daughter. Pretty comparable to LNLR Win shells. Scarlett
The Clean Shot you each won or were gifted is NEW smokeless powder... not to be confused with the old BP substitute of same name. @Marauder SASS #13056 gave you the proper link. If you need further information, my husband, Tom Eagle Talker, Is an associate with Shooters World and would be happy to help you! You can reach him at bulletsbyscarlett@gmail.com or his cell 803-833-0087. Big hugs! Scarlett
