Have you seen the pilot? Not only was this a different Mrs Munster, but Herman was different. Same guy - Fred Gwynne - but he was not the big goofy guy that he was in the series. You know when he would kiss Lily, she would turn her face and offer her cheek and he would bend down and just put a little peck on her cheek. Phoebe - he gave her a lip lock. That was startling.

Yup, I’ve seen it. Liked it better than the series. I read somewhere that the producers thought Joan looked too much like Carolyn Jones of the Addams Family and is why they went with Lily.

Well, I thought I deleted it but I just found it in a different folder. It's gone now.
