The oil man is telling Jed that he should move to Beverly Hills, and there's lots of movie stars living there. Either Jed or Cousin Pearl asked if Jed would be living anywhere near Tom Mix. The oil guy replied that he was sorry to have to tell them, but Mr Mix was dead. They both look sort of shocked, then Jed said that, "I should have knowed that.
