Many years ago when I first got on the internet, I got an email ad from BellSouth. My landline provider. And it said it was $14 a month for a phone. I looked at that for a little bit and then I called BellSouth. I asked them if that was the price and they said yes it was. I asked them why I was being charged $22.

 

Well it seemed like 6 or 8 months ago they had had this rate decrease. And now it was 14. Again - so why am I paying 22? Simple. I had not asked for the cheaper rate. The price went down, but you had to ask for it.

 

I asked for the cheaper rate and they hooked me up. I asked for a refund of the $8 a month I had been overpaying for the last 6 months. Weeeelllll, no that doesn't happen.
