In the show “The walking dead” the kid’s name is Carl, but his Dad pronounces it kind of like like coral.

Is there any particular reason why he's wearing a hat that is too small?

 

I know the gangsta culture requires your hat to be too big, so that the edges of the crown sit down over your ears. But that kid's hat is too small. It is sitting too high on his head.

It was Rick (his Dad)'s Sheriff hat...different head sizes.

Yeah, I was a fan of the show, that's why it looked odd to me.

That was actually his dad's hat.

 

Three explanations....

Dad had a pinhead.

Carl had a fathead.

Hat had newspaper in the hatband to make it fit.
