Jeepers... I didn't think I was that vague ~ must be from trying to type well after midnight. So, to simplify, clarify, verify, and 'splain - naw, I don't think the missus was trying to poison me. BUT! It's clear that I was a "heart patient." And foxglove is well known for it's potential cardiac effects. Now, the "scatter" was two and a half acres, with many garden areas. It was like a park. Sooo... planting it in the HERB garden (where everything else was edible) would be akin to storing d-CON rat poison in your spice rack. 🤪 This was the Herb Garden, about 12' x 15' with a fountain in the middle, set in the brick patio surrounded by roses and Arizona Cypress trees. The gorgeous foxglove was right behind the "squirrel bench" on the front right. Right next to the oregano and lemon grass. 1 3 Quote
