I have also done work with some companies who take a different view. In those companies, safety is not a budget item. This means whatever it takes, do it that way. Back then, you had to get the work done....or they'd find someone who would and for a lot cheaper. Eyesa Horg Posted July 10 Posted July 10 I was never fond of climbing poles on hooks. I had to access the drops at 48' over the rail road tracks. I chickened out at about 25' and was exhausted! Back down we went!  "Ladder in the bucket will get me up there", still terrifying, but better than little pointy things and not being able reach around the pole to use a belt to rest!! Did a lot of swallowing! That fat pole looked like a pencil at the bottom from 48' up. Yeah, those were the days! 😉 2 Quote
