Pulp, SASS#28319
Not the best photos, but at least I got to see it. First one is crossing the Neosho River at Ft Gibson, OK. Second is at Wagoner, OK. When the engineer has to blow the whistle and yell into a loudspeaker to get folks off the tracks, it is time to thin the herd. 1.2 million pounds coming at you and someone has to tell you to get out of the way. For the third attachment, ignore the video (phone was in my pocket) but turn up your volume and listen to that whistle. bgavin
My neighbor's Dad used to drive the big concrete mixers. He was always amazed when Suzi Soccer Mommie would pull out right in front of his truck with her Prius, and expect him to stop.
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
Had a Lexus driver come around a curve this weekend about 2 feet across the center line on a windy road. I was in my old F 250 tooling along with a load of auto parts. I know the road and expect stupid drivers so I did ease over just enough to allow him or her to not hit me. If you assume that all drivers are total idiots, you will rarely be caught off guard.
