After I suggested a Martian, I thought, "well, maybe Rudolph imbibed too much eggnog, and is pulling the sleigh all over the sky - up and down and cuttin' donuts and didos, doing Immelmanns and split-Ss, and dippin' low over lakes to make rooster tails, and then he did a Lomcovák, and Santa turned green after seeing his left ear".

I still say that the Vikings went raiding in hopes of finding a decent meal.

 

Considering that English food was a big enough step up that they took over half the country,  I don't wonder about how they became such ferocious fighters.
