His right leg went wide. Dusty Bottoms also swung off, swinging so wide he ended up on Ned's horse. But Lucky Day - he didn't swing off. He stepped off. Most westerns they swing on and they swing off. You expect that. I know that Steve Martin stepped off so he wouldn't kick Chevy Chase's horse. But it happened so quickly that I didn't even notice it.
