Train Buffs: Union Pacific Big Boy Tour

Probably some other threads on this, but I didn't find any. 

Have any of y'all seen it yet?  It'll be coming through NE OK a week from Saturday.  My current plans are to drive to up to Ft Gibson and film it crossing the Neosho River.

So you like trains huh,

 

Have you ever been to Bailey Yard in North Platte?  A  U.P. yard that is the largest rail yard in the world.  They also have the Golden Spike Tower there, where you can be 7 stories above the action and see what goes on in the 3000 acre train yard.

 

Remember- North Platte is the original Hell on Wheels.......

Big Boy has been on the tracks behind my house a couple times this year. It's loud and makes alot of steam. Folks were parked on the roadside tailgating waiting for it to pass.

Been through N. Platte, a total of two times in one day.  Didn’t see the yard.
