A postcard from every state

Once a year, one of the teachers at our elementary school tries to get a postcard from every State. She is missing a few states and I mentioned I'd reach out to my great Cowboy pards for an assist.

We still need Indiana, Louisiana, Vermont, New Hampshire, West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland

Postcards can be sent to
Mrs. Nash’s class
905 Sycamore street
Lafayette, TN 37083

The brown states are the ones we don’t have.

Thanks to all that have sent and all that have shared!

This project is a fun way to learn about all 50 states. If you want to write facts about your states you can.

It is ok if we get more than one from each state. I am going to make photo albums for each child for Christmas and divide the cards up among each student. The more cards we get the more each child will get to keep forever.

The states she doesn't have a postcard from:

Indiana

Lousiana

Vermont

New Hampshire

West Virginia

Virginia

Maryland

If you would like to include facts about your state that would be excellent and help the class learn. She is happy to have multiple from any of the states, so feel free to send a postcard to the class:

Mrs Nash's Class

905 Sycamore Street

Lafayette, TN 37083

Thanks,

Tyrel

I'll leave that up to you, postage may get out of hand at some point, LOL.

Compared to the cost of cowboy gear and ammo it will be a doddle.

A card from New South Wales, Australia will be on the way (may take a while to get there though:rolleyes:)

You want something from Europe?

ill send something from New Hampshire, too.

I'm sure that's fine, but don't go to too much trouble or expense.

As of this afternoon she still needs postcards from the states I listed earlier.

@Hillbilly Drifter you know anybody in the West Virginia or Virginia area?

Tyrel

I went to an old time Pharmacy this morning in our little town and bought one antique and one newer post card. I then went to the post office and bought some old time stamps. They went out today.

Do you need one from Southern MS?

She has Mississpi, but no doubt would accept more. I think the kids are really enjoying it. I copied her Facebook post in my original post:

Postcard and short note about the State of New South Wales (and our connection to the War of Independance) mailed today.

That will be neat and I think she'll be pleasantly surprised.
