I've seen Polaris behind the curtain.  Experienced what it is like to be a supplier and how they operated.  I wouldn't buy anything Polaris.  In these parts you see Polaris equipment for sale all the time.  Rarely Yamaha, more rarely Honda, and practically never Can-Am.  I just recently bought a Kubota UTV, assembled in the US.  Thing is like a tank.  Goes 40 MPH which way more than I need.  Bought it for the wife who is always complaining about the several used golf cars we have that all have metal boxes and get beat everyday.

My Mule is Blue, I named it Ruth after speaking with Queen Foraday last week.

I had 2 Polaris quads. My wife road a 400 & I had a 500. Put many miles and hours on both of them here in the Colorado mts. In 10 years never did anything except oil changes & tires. Very reliable and tough.

I now have a sxs Yamaha Rhino which IMHO is way better than quads. 1836626984_BolamPass.jpg.39ae601d90b9ee7ea04544fe4f7a7770.jpg1863394733_YamahaRhino2.thumb.JPG.956eeb83c6dbaf863c9313c0632b34db.JPG

I did too.  I call it an old man's motorcycle because I figure in not too many years I'll be rolling my wheelchair up to the side of the mule to side into the seat.  Straddling a quad would be out of the picture by then too.

WELL, I made the plunge.

I got a new Yamaha Kodiak 450 EPS SE.

The 600 Kodiak looked great, but for the increase in price vs. my actual

needs and requirements, the 450 I got is perfect.

I did upgrade my tire purchase and got some more aggressive tires for it.

The Grizzly was just a tad big for me and my usage needs.   The Kodiak feels more like

a nice trail ATV with great handling abilities.

I hope to post a pic later.   Beautiful machine.   I love the fully automatic drive system.

And coming down off a steep embankment or hill doesn't require much brake usage because

the engine has a great breaking system when you let off the throttle.

More later.
