Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted November 3, 2019 Share Posted November 3, 2019 It has bothered me that my adopted father Ernest Fisher was not getting a flag on his grave for memorial & Veterans Day. I never had documents. This year I resolved to attend to the matter with more energy. I contacted the secretary of NH VA. With a name like Cynthia Fisher, how could I lose? She was very helpful and pointed me to Massachusetts VA. DAMN, three minutes and I had a document. A guy in Concord (state capital) told me to contact a local American Legion guy and “if they won’t put a flag there, let me know”. I plan to check out the grave on 11/11. I’ll keep ya posted.
