Movies my kids say are old - Young Frankenstein - Airplane - stylish, funny, and quick witted. Honorable mention - Caddyshack (the best Rodney Dangerfield) and The Pink Panther with Peter Sellers. Western - Evil Roy Slade and McClintock. Honorable mention - not really a comedy per se but many funny scenes - The Quiet Man. Amended to add per Pat's post - Monty Python's Holy Grail and The Princess Bride - shouldn't have left those off. Villain was a good one, too. We went to see that when my son was 4. Funny movie. When we left we were in the car and I asked him how he liked the movie. ”It was good”, he said. “And I didn’t even get kicked out”, he added, seemingly quite pleased with himself. ”Whaat?”, I said. Then my wife started to laugh. “I don’t get it”, I said. She said, “He must have heard me talking on the phone to my friend Leslie. I told her we were taking Billy to see Caveman because he’d probably get a kick out of it”. No wonder he was on his best behavior.

My son-in-law made dinner and then we watched Zombieland and had ice cream. We are going to see the new Zombieland movie today. Zombieland “Double Tap”. It came out this past Thursday. Sixgun Sheridan
No love for the Pink Panther films? Inspector Clouseau was my all-time favorite character when growing up. Another good one was Planes, Trains, & Automobiles with Steve Martin and John Candy. As much as I hate Jim Carrey's politics his Liar, Liar was damn funny as well. .
