Rattlesnake Slim
What did you do Sunday? Went leaf-peeping? Maybe shoveled the first snowfall of the year? Well 21 dedicated cowboys and cowgirls gathered at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility to celebrate the cool (90*) weather with the first work party of the year! Can we ever have enough boardwalk? It seems like no matter how much we build, somebody is needing more. Maybe if we build enough it will never rain again. This year's train theme has us rounding up every available piece of track and building even more. The train track refurbishing crew gets busy. The next work party is scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd. Stop by if you're in the area, we'd love to meet ya.

Tex Wilson
"Leaf peeping" is going out and enjoying the autumn as the leaves on the trees change colors. It's just starting here in the Arizona Territory and probably well underway further East. Barb and I are going out in a couple of weeks to view the fall foliage up Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona. Rattlesnake Slim
Ok, a little update after a couple of great work party days: Increasing the herd. Here several "Cowboys" birthing the latest addition to the Winter Range cattle herd. Welcoming another one to the family, It's a boy! Even our esteemed Match Director and 2019 SASS Hall of Fame inductee Blackjack Zac gets into the action wielding a saber saw almost as fast as he does his six-guns. A couple of coats of paint and they're ready for the range. Rough Rider Junior Bravo working on the new front destined for our Vendor Coordinator, Sly Puppy. Range Master and Deputy Match Director Nine Toe Joe supervises construction of the new tunnel for one of the train-themed stages. Can't resist being part of the fun? Then join us at the next work party on January 4th. We'd love to see you! You can contact us through WinterRange.com.
