Audie Murphy starred in a movie a few years after WWII about his wartime military service overseas that earned him the Medal of Honor. The movie was called, “To Hell And Back”. Also, an oil painting of Audie Murphy as a US Army Captain, hangs (I believe) in the House of Representatives Chamber of the Texas State Capitol Building in Austin, Texas.
