Observation:  dog can run under the fence.  Horse can't.

 

Conclusion: dog is safe if horse can't / won't jump the fence.....or if the horse knows how to open the gate.

Dogs can be really dumb sometimes, but when you're up to your @$$ in alligators it's hard to remember  your initial objective was to drain the swamp.

I've been fighting 'gators and draining swamps most of my life.  Not always successful, sometimes no fun at all, and once in awhile downright dangerous, but never boring. :P

Wife had a Schipperke that played tag with her horses like that all the time.
