New to me, old Beaver Brand hat.

Recommended Posts

Picked up this old Beaver Brand open crown, flat brim hat on a recent trip to Arizona. Don’t know how old it is, but it’s in great shape and cleaned up nicely. Anyone else wearing a Beaver Brand? They date back to 1860 and went out of business about 10 years ago.

Got thisn off eBay about 15 years ago. A bit too small for me. I think it’s a 6 7/8 and I take a 7.

Would you be willing to part with it?  What would your asking price be?  I'm a 6 7/8.......

I have no idea what they go for. Make me an offer. I’ll measure it tomorrow for an exact size.

If you don’t sell them to Kris, get ‘em wet and put them in a hat jack or wear them until they dry out.  1/8” stretch is pretty easy.

I actually have a hat stretcher. But I’m hat rich and don’t really need it.

The hat appears to be a size 6 7/8. 5” crown and 4” brim. Cattleman’s crease. No holes or stains. 10X. Don’t know what it’s worth. PM me an offer I can’t refuse.

Well it arrived today.  It's beautiful and fits perfectly.   Funds are going in the mail in the morning.

Interesting side note.  35 years ago, I worked at the store this hat was purchased from.
