USC Students Want John Wayne Exhibit Removed,

Utah Bob #35998

They already did something similar here in WA state. We have a long former railroad grade turned into a nature trail that runs from Seattle over to eastern Washington that was called the John Wayne Pioneer Trail. The anti-Duke pinheads here got the name changed to "Palouse to Cascades Nature Trail" recently. Too bad, snowflakes. It's still the John Wayne trail to me.

This is all about changing history and changing things to teach “activism” and to remove any vestige of American tradition. Things like this are funded efforts by left wing groups with lots of money and power. If you have the ability to drive down to the root cause you will find there is a foundation involved. More than likely that foundation is funded by well known leftist scum that hide in the shadows and allow their useful idiots to feel empowered to do their bidding.

I see this crap where I work. Political manipulation that is borderline immoral, unethical and completely leftist agenda driven. It is so hard to watch and stay removed from it just to keep a job. I keep telling myself “Three years, three months. You can walk away...”

It's almost certainly going to get much worse before it gets better, if it ever does get better.  :(

All this politically correct sh....crap started when Comrade Obama was in office.....oops, I guess that makes me a white supremacist like the Duke, well at least I'm with good company. Guess being a white supremacist also makes me racist, homophobic, zenophobic, a misoginist and all those other liberal, left leaning, socialist, millennial snowflake buzzwords they like to throw around nowadays.

It goes back a lot farther than that. It goes back at least to when young people were spitting on Vietnam vets and calling them baby-killers. These same twerps who thought they were morally justified in doing the things they did had kids, who in turn had kids... all with the same poisoned mindset.

Uno is a USC Alum.  He minced no words when he informed the president if they removed the display, they can kiss his donations goodbye.  Many of the alumni associations said the same thing.

Yeah, I know I ma.  I just returned from Las vegas where my son married one of the finest women I ever met, a wonderful black woman.

I toasted the couple and told the audience (about 140 people) that I now considered he to be my family, my new daughter.  I then announced that her family is now my family, too and then said "Now I know that many of you will be surprised and mortified that you are now Scots-Irish and Italian."

I wasn't sure how that would be taken but it sure got a lot of laughter and applause.

It was great weekend.

Yeah, I'm a white supremist.....in a pig's ass.

I did.

One of my new DIL's sons asked me if I was part of their family, too.  I told him I hoped so.  He asked how it felt to be partially black.  I said "sort of warm and comfortable...and well fed".  (He's a chef).

He invited me back for Christmas and offered to put together a dinner just for me.  I'll be there.

Forty, you just reminded me of an incident East Coast Filly and I had back in the early '70's. We had gone to North Carolina to visit a friend. While driving through town Filly said she wanted to find a pharmacy to get some aspirin. After a bit of wandering we found one and went in. When we went to the register there stood two of the most enormous men I had seen outside of an NFL team! One looked at us with eyebrows raised and in a voice that rumbled said, "you folks aren't from these parts are ya?"

"No," I answered. "Why?"

"Cause you folks is in the wrong store."

"The wrong store? This is a pharmacy isn't it?"

"This is the Black side of town, White folks don't shop over here."

I looked at Filly, she looked back, then I turned to the man and  simplestated, "Well that's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard of!"(Remember, I as all of 22 or 23 at this time)

There was a moment of stunned silence and then both gentlemen began to laugh. We spent another little while talking to these men and then went on our way with a wave and a chuckle.
