Three Foot Johnson
The temperature is supposed to drop by 55 degrees by tomorrow night, and up to a foot of snow. I've got barely half my winter's wood in.

Sixgun Sheridan
It's getting worse here in the Pacific NW as well, with the weather being a full month ahead of schedule. Normally we remain mild until at least mid-October, but it turned cold and rainy halfway through September. No snow yet but they're saying we may see some in November, when normally we never see it until at least December.

It was brutal, and a fair amount of it is still there. It's already dropped 20º here, and another ten in the Great Falls area with light snow already falling there. At least they don't have to go up North with the old 564th no longer in business, like we did a half-century ago! We don't need anything like that WX along Colorado's Front Range, but a little moisture would be welcome.
Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L
Got to 64° just before sunrise here in Houston--everyone in stores had coats or sweaters on Right now the squirrels are sweating since the heat has come back
Forty Rod SASS 3935
I left northern Utah in 1965 because of eleven month winters and one month way late in the fall. Lots of places like that. That's one reason I'm in love with north central Arizona, and why I'm staying.

Smuteye John SASS#24774
Yep, fall is in the air. It's only supposed to be in the mid-80's today. Personally, I'm tired of sweating and just can't wait for the first hard frost. We set daily temp records in September and this year was a record for the most 90+ degree days in the month of September.
Trailrider #896
Incoming...weather, that is! Windy as all getout in suburban Denver and the temp dropped about 30 degrees! Went out to help the wife cover the roses and other flowers, pending the start of snow. Wind has died down indicating the front has passed. Now just waiting to see if and how much of the white stuff we get. Supposed to snow tonight and most of Thursday. Forecast for the weekend...60's and 70's! Roads will probably just be wet...until morning. Then watch out for black ice!
