Krag 1898 Carbine, caliber 30-40 Krag. This is a cut down rifle. The barrel is in good condition, bore is bright and shiny, with strong rifling. I used this carbine in Grand Army of the Frontier competition. It is quite accurate; it will give approximately three inch groups at 100 yards, and approximately three inch groups at 50 yards with cast lead bullets. The metal shows grey patina, with no rust or pitting. This is a good solid rifle. e-mail me at KUYLAARS@MSN.COM.
