Assassin
There's a difference between coated and plated. Copper washed/coated bullets are acceptable, it's just a coating; moly, hytek, etc. AJ, can you post a picture of the shot for clarification. It must be all lead. Moly-Disulfide, polymer coated bullets, or equivalents are acceptable." I was looking at an outdated SHB.... My reading comprehension is just fine. It just gives lead a slight copper tint. If I'm not mistaken it was Rimrock bullet company out of Montana. However, that was 20+ years back. Cheyenne Culpepper 32827
the only "copper" that I know of being allowed is for the polymer copper colored coated bullets of late,,, I was against the new coating being allowed in copper color because of telling the polymer coating and copper coated or washed.. imho

The current version states: Quote REVOLVER AND RIFLE AMMUNITION - May not be jacketed, semi-jacketed, plated, or gas checked. It must be all lead. Moly-Disulfide, polymer coated bullets, or equivalents are acceptable. SHB p.27 The "copper washed" prohibition has been deleted, as it is not the same as "plated".
