No, I was wounded in the engagement C Co. was in just before that. John Poindexter wrote a book, The Anonymous Battle, about that engagement. Seems we'd been tailed by some VC/NVA for about a week and then, lucky us, walked into a NVA base camp, got surrounded and had to have Co A, 2/8 and Troop A, 11 ACR come pull our chestnuts out of the fire.
