Black RZR
How many rounds does it typically take to shoot long range?
Captain Clark
Only speaking for the LR shoots around the Southwest, it is almost always 10 shots per each category you choose to participate in. It might vary depending on the Match Directors discretion, and some regional preferences.
Black RZR
Ok thanks. I'll load up bout 20 extra hotter loads. I'll b shootin lever pistol cartridge that's all I got. I want to buy a high wall eventually 38-55 or 45-
Johnny Longpants
You'll love a 45-70 high wall. Especially if you load BP, the thump is so satisfying. In the single shot categories they usually shoot 6 around here.
Chicken Scratch
I run a 6 round run but you can shoot it multiple times just get back in line. I shoot lever rifle 30 30, single shot 45 70 1885 high wall and 1874 sharps, Quigly is 3 rounds off hand as a rule of thumb I bring 60 rounds per gun
