How to load TrailBoss for any cartridge.

I recommend you stay at least two tenths of a grain above the minimum. You will still have a nice light load.

I took the physical measurements of Ringer's 105 grain LTCFP Hi-Tek.
These are a custom run for me at BHN=9 (PSI=11,559) which is good match for this load.

This is what it looks like in Quickload with 5.1 grains of Trail Boss.
The PSI is 11.5k which moves it more toward the cleaner end of the TB range.

Note the high 96% load density, so no chance of double charging.
Also note the 100% powder burn, and peak pressure before the bullet crosses the barrel/cylinder gap.

I got a good sized batch of Ringer's light .38s.
I'll be trying this very combination.
Soon as I run out of the other stuff!

Ringer has a niche if he chooses to focus on it.

He is the only caster I've found (so far) willing to soft cast BHN=9 and Hi-Tek coating.
Soft lead bullets are ideal for CAS revolver use with low pressure loads.

My run was a minimum order of 6,000 of 105 grain LTCFP Hi-Tek.
I am delighted with the bullet quality and price.

Ringers regular soft cast bullets work excellent as well and not special order. Remember we only shoot a few yards!

I use 2.8 grains of Clays in the wifes 38's for both rifle and pistol with Ringers coated Bullets with absolutely no issues. Clays is much cheaper and you use a lot less! JMHO
