Alpo
Reading an online story, with an author from New Zealand. He had the girl lying down with her head in the guy's laps. L A P S Normally I would assume that this was a typo, but I have seen that in British English pants have flies. Not "a fly", like they do over here, but plural, as in, "I opened my flies to urinate". Strange. But it did make me wonder if your average New Zealander has laps - possibly because it is made up of two thighs?
J-BAR #18287
You are reading a story with characters in that configuration and you are thinking about spelling? Perhaps you should be reading a spelling textbook instead.
