Wow! I can only imagine what it’s like to have the kind of patience it would take to learn how to do this and to actually do it time and time again. 

 

I am just too “Type A” for this but I appreciate the talent and time it took to create this art. Fascinating.

Probably happens quite a bit. You just have to change what you’re carving.

That might be unavoidable. I guess there is quite an interest in these types of carvings and they sell for big bucks sometimes.
