Thursday, August 29, 2019 It’s the Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS Match! Doors and gates open at 8:30 am. Sign-up and registration starts at 9:00 am. Match starts at 10:00 am with the Pledge of Allegiance and safety meeting. Coffee and Donuts in the morning! No lunch will be provided this time so bring your snacks in case you get hungry! Water in little plastic bottles will be provided to ward off thirst! “Silver rings” will be provided to ward off fear! 5 fun-filled stages full of Old West wackiness and wonderment! There will be lines from movies that have never been seen and lines from movies that have yet to be made! Visitors and spectators are always welcome! Bring your safety glasses and hearing protection! Sunny in the morning and partly sunny in the afternoon! 12 mph wind from the southwest! Lottsa trees were cut out in the Brookfield woods so there might be better air circulation! The weather for Thursday is supposed to reach a high of 71 degrees at 1:00 pm! That's pretty cool weather for August! I'm not complaining; I'm just surprised. It's also supposed to be sunny all day! Thanks to everybody for coming out and participating and thanks to all our friends who couldn't shoot but came out to help! You guys are the best! Thanks for making our new shooter/friend, Calico Jack, feel welcome and right at home. He said he had a real good time! We hope to see him again when he can stay longer! Swiftwater Jack won the day finishing in first place. Congratulations, Jack! Our next match will be Saturday September 14, 2019.
