It has a very early and perhaps unique S/N 1917. The rifle has great wood and except for a minor ding on the barrel and the re-stamping of the caliber to 44-40 (not sure when or why this was done but the gun is a 44-40). Great old Winchester for your collection or shooting - beautiful bore – these actions were very strong! Asking $1595 plus shipping, thank you for looking.
