Lone Roc Ranger
This rifle was cross posted on several sites and was recently sold. Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited lever action rifle .357 mag or .38 spl Ser. No. 010031xx (1999 manufacture) 24” Octagon barrel with JM stamp & front gold dot carbine sight Fancy checkered walnut stock Marlin hard rubber butt plate Adjustable Marble folding sporting rear sight Lyman No. 2 tang rear sight Trigger pull ~ 2.5 lbs I replaced the semi-buckhorn rear sight with a Marble folding sporting rear sight, replaced the orange plastic follower with a stainless steel follower, replaced the cross-bolt safety with the ‘screw’ and added a leather laced butt cover and a leather snap-on lever cover. Original rear site, follower and safety are all included plus the off-set hammer spur. Will ship in a Marlin box, but not the correct serial number on box. Purchased in Oct 2014 from the original owner, a Pard from FL, who said the action was worked on by a very good local smith. It has a very smooth action. Only lightly used for two seasons. $999 SOLD for $950 plus shipping (provide your FFL's zip code for a price to ship)

Trigger Mike
How well does it shoot both calibers?
Lone Roc Ranger
The majority of shooting that I did with it was with .38 spl. Shot everything I fed it while trying different loads and bullet weights. I did try some .357 mag factory ammo and had no issues. The barrel is actually stamped with both calibers by the way. The Original Lumpy Gritz
Excellent rife at a great price. Yes -I'm a M/94 fan. Have 3 of'em, and they are the KISS of lever rifles. Respectfully, OLG
Silver Creek Jack
I have this very same rifle model and use it for long range pistol/rifle caliber competition and it is an absolute tack driver out to 200 yrds, great price on a fine rifle!
