Jersey Kid, SASS #287
1890 SAA Cavalry Colt FS For sale a very nice original all numbers matching SAA - the grips to me appear to be ivory on one panel and perhaps bone on the other - not sure if this was an officer's model ordered with ivory or they were an after thought. Nice clean late Indian Wars Cavalry model. Asking $3,600 + $45 shipping, thanks for looking.
Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
What's with the bolt drag? Tuning issues or?
Jersey Kid, SASS #287
Yes - I suspect it is out of time and the bolt is falling too soon

Doc Coles SASS 1188
Just wanted to say how happy I am with the gun. It is all matching, including the grips (which had been painted for some reason). The Jersey Kid and his nephew were great to deal with.

Doc Coles SASS 1188
Here is a shot of the gun with the paint stripped from the grips. I used a chemical stripper with no abrasion so it didn’t change to wood at all. The parts in the background are for a nice 1862 pocket police that I just built a new hand for.
