Tennessee williams
I acquired a 1050 set up for loading 38super. How rough and expensive is it to change over to 9mm or 38special? Oh, and whats the difference in a 1050 and a super 1050?

OLG Yep, itll give me the new cost. may be someone on here can enlighten me about changing it over. They may even have a conversion kit and help me kill 2 birds with one stone. Crooked River Pete, SASS 43485
I use 9mm dies to reload my .38 super, may not work the other way but I'd try adjusting the dies first to see if I could.

The Original Lumpy Gritz
If it's a #5 shellplate on the machine now. It will work for both .38 Super and 9mm. https://dilloncdn.com/manuals/dillon-super1050-manual-english.pdf OLG
G W Wade
As far as shell holder, I have conversion for 38 super that uses #3 locator pins. That can also do 9 m/m. By hanging to #2 pins I can also load 40 S&W. That's on a 550. but shellholder size should be the same regardless of 550 or 1050, just more slots GW
Capt. James H. Callahan
I don't have a 1050, mine is a 550. I can tell you that if you're not strapped for $ Dillon dies are well worth the money. I bought them for everything I load and retired a bunch of RCBS dies. My 2 cents, JHC
