Utah Bob #35998 Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 I just read a quote from a tanker who was in N. Africa.The Grant was 10 feet tall. He said the M3 looked like a damned cathedral coming down the road. The Grant had a serious flaw in not being able to traverse the main gun and the gun being mounted to low to enable the tank to fire from a dug in protected position.
