Got to bed early so you can get up before the chickens. Early AM should be the best time to watch.
J-BAR #18287
Perhaps there is a reason why there are no major observatories in Missouri. Dang.
Calico Mary
And the Colorado rocky mountain highI've seen it rainin' fire in the skyI know he'd be a poorer man if he never saw an eagle fly Stay up for it, or set an alarm....meteor showers and eagles flying are wonderful gifts to be appreciated (for those not aware, the 'rainin' fire in the sky' line refers to the Perseid meteor shower)

Tell Sackett SASS 18436
We saw this meteor shower for the first time in 2015 at a mountain ranch in central Colorado. Awesome! I counted over 200 meteors before we went to bed. Best viewed at dark of ther moon. I think that happens again in 2023. We'll be back at the ranch that week! J-BAR #18287
I’ll peek at the sky in the wee hours, just in case there’s a break in cloud cover. But I doubt I will lose much sleep. Would love it if I could!

Trailrider #896
Use to see them when I was a kid at summer camp. Too blasted cloudy ad too much light pollution in the Denver area!
DocWard
Thunderstorms last night here. A different kind of light show, and loud too!
