Victorville, CA

I liked visiting there quite a bit.  Lots of history in that area. Miss the place a lot.  Besides, nearby is one of the best SASS clubs around.

The bridge photo above is the Mineral Road Bridge in Victorville.

North east on Hwy 18.

Built in 1928.

It is also the only trestle bridge that Route 66 crosses.

The bridge is not used by the public since Hwy 18 was built.

The old seriff's office has been in several locations over the years.

I belive it was built in 1906.

It is currently located next to the San Bernardino Court house in Victorville.

We lived down the hill a piece in Ontario and went up several times over 30 odd years.  Met Roy and Dale there one time, one of the highlights of my time in California.

Fond memories of Victorville & the RR Regulators..I'II always remember at the range when the wife asked one of the local cowboys' what type of critters ya' got round here..his answer was ..'just roadrunners & coyotes'   !!

I think he was a used car salesman..............:lol:
