Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted August 10, 2019 Share Posted August 10, 2019 I left Vietnam, left the Army, returned from 'Nam and nine days later started my first school teaching job, bought a Corvair Corsa 140 to go with my Datsun 1600 Fairlady roadster, reconnected with my now three yer old son, was introduced to my daughter (who was four months old when I left) and one of the best dogs I ever had, and reconnected with family and friends. Someone mentioned something about Woodstock and some moon missions, some jackass named Vida Blue was upsetting baseball (never heard of him again.), and some other things that just didn't mean much and didn't stay in my memory long Started 3 years if being a terrible civilian before I joined the Corps to get back in uniform in 1972.
