Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
Heard on the radio that Orlando is replacing your typical parking meter with an app. Many cities across our great nation have already gone this route. In Portland, Oregon for example they have already installed and made available their app called Parking Kitty. NO....not that Parking Kitty, this one:
Sixgun Sheridan
The last time I used a parking meter in Seattle the CC I used got compromised. I haven't parked on their streets since. I reckon an app will be just as easy to hack, if not easier.
Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619
We have those kiosks, but they also take coins and I never use a credit card in them.
Pat Riot
I can’t see paying for something that should be free on a public street that the taxpayers already paid for. I refuse to use their ridiculous meters, apps and kiosks. If I have to pay to park I go to a parking garage. It supports a local business. They have security and my bike or car is out of the elements. Screw city hall!
Chili Ron
Howdy, Last I looked Sycamore Illinois had a whole string of meters on main street. Yep, bring your pennies. I think tickets are a quarter....not sure. Best CR
