I was looking for a photo of the Patron SASS Badge and came across this badge holder.   Does anyone know who makes this badge holder? Thanks.   Driftwood Dan1637411390_SASS2reloadbadgeholder.jpg.4aaa148cb545e3c197effe388a012073.jpg

Ted Blocker makes one, but a different style.
We have two on order along with our leather.

There are two sizes.
I understand the Life Member badge is larger.

there are a lot of folks making them - visit vendors at the shoots you attend - its why they are there and often they will custom make to your desires ,

A quick Google search turned up this. Maybe that's where you found it, but try contacting the OP.

Interesting.
I guess you only get the "L" suffix if you are a Life member from the onset.

I called, asked them if there were any perks to being a Life member.
At my age there were none, so I passed on it.

"L"? If you're talking about the 96324L on my profile, I put that there myself.

The perks are I dont have to remember to renew every year before our state match. I'm 44 and hope that's at least 30 more years of not having to pay annually. I will like send a small check anyway just to support the Organization. I'm also likely to purchase the Patron membership too. I understand why some folks that are a bit older wouldn't want to and that's cool too.

That was my exact motivation when I became NRA Life many decades ago.
However, the years have passed by, so there is no perk for me to be a SASS life member.

im life for both and really appreciate the fact i no longer have to renew , that said i have such a leather holder that i have fastened to my cart - too little room on my belt for everything id like to hang there so i keep it to the minimum but i get and appreciate the desire to have it well displayed ...and wear it ,

  • 1 month later...

Last Norco End of Trail, 2004.  I introduced my then 12-year old son to the Judge.

As he shook the Kid's hand, the Judge took his ceegar out of his mouth, looked pointedly at the Kid's gold badge, and with a serious expression said "Well, Kid, I reckon you're gonna get your money's worth outta US!"

The Kid matched his expression and replied "Yessir.  I reckon I will."

i failed to say that a local vendor made my leather badge holder - i suspect most everyone can say they know one that will or do make one of some design , i think if you ask at your local leather vendors they will offer something - if you stuck on 'that' design they may come close without treading on anothers work , might not "copy" it as some of us in creative fields respect others works even if not trademarked or patented , should be able to get something satisfactory - unless you find the maker of 'that one' then you are all set ,

To bad this merchant does post in the Merchant's Forum.

The workmanship appears to be top of the line.
