Very, very nice!  It's kind of a satisfying feeling when you finally settle on the alias you were supposed to have!

1.  I thought anything as big as you was extinct.

2. Do those guns come with wheels, caissons, and a trained crew?

3. Would you sell them to me for a hunnert bucks?

4. Did Rick Buchanan make those holsters, (I'm waiting for a pair and a belt from him any old day now.).......and

5. How many cows were sacrificed to make them?

I've had six of these - 3 .45's and 3 .357's. They also made them in .44-40, but I've never seen one. The .357's were HEAVY, so I sold 'em and kept the .45's. I did the leather myself, but the holsters are too lightweight. They're only about 8 oz leather (It was all I had that much of, and I still had to splice one!), and I really need to make some from extra heavy quarter inch/16 oz stuff. (One ounce = 1/64") I cut the buckle out of a piece of flat steel, bowed it slightly, welded a nail across the middle for the bar, and shaped another nail for the prong.

Dang... I need to make a new belt too... or stitch a new nameplate onto it...

They're tied off just above the knee, so I can sit down. So of course when I'm sitting, there are several inches of holster sticking out in front of my knees, so I gotta be careful about tripping people.

Heck, ya don't even have to pull the trigger to knock down any knock down's. Just reach your arm out and down they go.

@Three Foot Johnson or 3' Johnson:

     Congratulations on the new Alias.

I'd like to see a video of how you pull those beauties out of their holsters without hitting yourself in the head! :o:lol:

Does this mean your old Alias is now available for someone to follow in your footsteps?

J Bar Binks never did show up in the alias lookup - I checked several times. That list is far from complete.

Ya know, when measured from the breech face, its farther to the muzzles on the pistols than on a Marlin 1894c.

I have the matching carbine too. :)

I'm certain this picture qualifies as the second known photograph of Bigfoot. (I'm not talking Wallace, of TX Ranger fame). Seems to be a friendly critter, too.

My brother in law on the end, blue shirt is a first cousin, and my sister on the other end. Sometimes I wonder about my parentage...:blink::ph34r:
Maybe just some recessive Viking gene that finally decided to come out.

Anybody ever listen to Mojo Nixon on Outlaw Radio? He’s got a song about this.

Shot with a guy in Idaho that carries 16 inch barreled Remington C&B.  What a hoot.
