Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
As a kid, (1954 or'55?) camping with my parents, we were touring Wood Buffalo National Park not too far from Edmonton Alberta, in the buffalo enclosure. We had been warned that buffalo roamed freely and had the Right of Way. Apparently, the car, with eastern Canada plates ahead of us, didn't get the message. The driver decided to "bump" the buffalo blocking his car and started blowing the horn. The biggest bull in the herd took exception and decided to batter the car full of now screaming people, until he tired and figured he had subdued the annoying car. The car had to be towed from the the park.
Warden Callaway
Being raised on a farm and around animals, small and large, even the most docile ones can be dangerous. Old farmer, well into his 70s, just across the valley milked several cows by hand. One morning a horse fly bit one of the cows and when she threw her head in reaction and being in a stanchion, she went down and knocked poor old Farmer Jones off his stool and laid on his legs. Then stomped him some getting back up. Fortunately, no broken bones or bleading cuts. But the worse damage was found later that hitting his head against the wall had done far more serious damage. He recovered but turned over the milking chore to his granddaughter.
Warden Callaway
We need to see the next 10 seconds. Did the bull continue the attack? Was he satisfied with just one flip?

Goody, SASS #26190
I'd have to say those are some crappy parents. Haul tail and leave the little girl to fend for herself.
Chili Ron
Howdy, I once encountered some wild critters in Yellowstone. The critters don't give one second to planning. I stood stone still and they walked right by. That critter could have gone after the parents or the kid or just continued eating grass. It all gets from easy to full speed real quick. Warden Callaway
Buffalo may look slow and clumsy but they are faster than a horse at 35mph and very agile.
Raylan
It was a little girl that got tossed, thankfully she is okay. Her parents are the ones runinng away and out of frame. Crappy parents, first to get that close with their daughter and second to take off and leave her.
