MW for me, it's what we always had growing up. Got nothing against mayo and will eat it if supplied where I'm at but don't buy it when getting groceries.

Heresy~!!!

I surely hope BMC doesn't see this...  :(

Proper trout bait is assembled on a soft, carbon steel hook* with feather, hair, fur, and silk.  not-talking.gif

*Preferably barbless.

I have never been much of a fisherman and don't recall seeing a fresh trout in over 40 years.

Fresh Trout are out; Robo trout are in.   Contact WDFW for details.

In the areas I fished there wasn't room for that kind of fishing.   Creeks maybe 8 feet wide, trees and tall brush usually down to the water with lots of branches just overhead.

Velveeta and/or salmon eggs on a hook.

Mayo made with avocado oil is what’s in our refrigerator or Hollywood mayo made with safflower oil.

Tenkara fishing was made for that Joe.

At first glance that sounds really strange, but after running the tastes through the little grey cells, it seems like it might be tasty.  I might give that one a try.

Let me know how you like it. Most folks I've known like it. BTW, mayo works fine also.

Problem is the length of the rod.

Tenkara was developed for that type of fishing. Not a cast and catch show. More of a fly dapping operation.

Never tried it, but I understand it is very effective.   Sometimes. :D

Sort of like the old school cane pole with a line, hook, and bobber?

Agree. Mayo is the most disgusting condiment on the planet.
