Best gunsmith for slicking a Miruku 1873 .357

I'm sure this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it.

I have a Winchester Miroku 1873 .357 and would like it to be smooth as butter.

I've seen prices varying by more than $100 for the same action job.

Please tell me who does the best Miroku work and save this old guy some trouble.

Thank you!

Are you getting a 44/40?

And I just realized the correct answer was:

Yes, is there any other caliber? :P:lol:

I was just at Indiana State with Carty. Got to handle one of the rifles he delivered. Oh man. To slick to believe

Like mentioned to someone in a PM, if I hadn't written down the serial number, I'd swear it was a different gun.

I have had two done.  One by Cody Conagher and one by Boomstick Jay.  I can see or feel no difference.  They are both slick as can be. Cody got my rifle back to me faster than Boomstick but I gave Boomstick my rifle at the “comin at cha shoot “ and he got snowed under with work on  that day.  I just wish someone could tell me how to keep my rifle brass from going down range.  Irish Pat
