Sold P.F - Joe Perkins - “Hand Of God” Sterling Silver crucifix grips

Recommended Posts

SOLD PF

I’m offering a custom pair of grips made by Joe Perkins. These grips are black ebony wood with solid silver crucifix crosses inlay on the outside panel. These were built by Joe shortly after the movie 3:10 to Yuma starring Russel Crowe. These grip are made from the same block of ebony that Russell Crowe’s gun that he kept after the movie. These are made to fit a 3rd gen Colt SAA and would probably fit a colt clone. I spoke to Joe last week and he currently has a 1 1/2 - 2 year wait time on grips being ordered. To order these grips today would require that wait time plus $900 and shipping. I’m offering this set ready to ship for $650.

(in the below pics is a screen shot about the grips off Joes website)

Do they hurt your hand when you shoot the gun with these grips in place

Never even know they are there . They are recessed and the only part sticking out just a little is the center. I used these on my main match colts for a couple years before going to rugers. Sold the colts and kept the grips, now I don’t have anything for them to fit :) .

Cowboys have been using carved emblems or other types of decorations on their grips pretty much since the SAA was invented. I can't remember reading anything about such items hurting anyone's hands. Designs as such tend to fit perfectly in the palm and you don't even notice them when shooting.

For what it's worth, Slick McClade is a hell of a good pard to do business with. Everything I have purchased from him so far was vastly better than described and extremely reasonable in price.
